Water Damage Turns Into Fire Damage
2/11/2020 (Permalink)
This water leak turned into a fire loss quickly when a pipe running through the ceiling sprung a leak onto the main electrical panel for the house. This short made the panel burst into flames. Using electrical wiring to travel, the fire quickly spread to the HVAC central unit in the attic. Eventually, the fire caused the original leaky pipe to burst, extinguishing the flames. At SERVPRO of Highland Village, we were able to dry and restore where the water and fire had damaged the home and clean and deodorize the rest of the home. We also were able to clean and deodorize all of the homeowner's belongings and return their home to working order.
